About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Healthcare Assistant to join our team at Hope Citadel Healthcare CIC. As a Healthcare Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our clinical team in the delivery of healthcare services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct new patient health checks and NHS Health checks
  • Take and record vital signs, including blood pressure, height, and weight measurements
  • Perform phlebotomy, ECGs, and other clinical procedures as required
  • Administer flu, B12, and Pneumococcal vaccinations
  • Provide chaperoning duties and assist with vaccine/cold chain storage and monitoring
  • Assist in the assessment and surveillance of patients' health and well-being
  • Undertake specific clinical activities for named patients as delegated and taught
  • Assist with the collection and collation of data on needs related to health and well-being
Requirements
  • Essential qualifications: Venepuncture
  • Essential experience: Working in a health setting, preferably primary care, and working to an appointment book
  • Desirable experience: Working independently
