About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Healthcare Assistant to join our team at Hope Citadel Healthcare CIC. The successful candidate will assist the Practice clinical team in the provision and delivery of patient care.

Main Responsibilities

  • Conduct new patient health checks and NHS Health checks
  • Take and record vital signs, including blood pressure, height, and weight measurements
  • Perform phlebotomy, ECGs, and flu, B12, and Pneumococcal vaccinations
  • Provide chaperoning duties and assist with vaccine/cold chain storage, monitoring, and recording
  • Assist in the assessment and surveillance of patients' health and well-being
  • Undertake specific clinical activities for named patients that have been delegated and taught specifically in relation to that individual
  • Assist with the collection and collation of data on needs related to health and well-being

Requirements

  • Experience working in a health setting, preferably primary care
  • Ability to work to an appointment book
  • Desirable: experience of working independently
