About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Healthcare Assistant to join our team at Hope Citadel Healthcare CIC. As a key member of our clinical team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with new patient health checks and NHS Health Checks
  • Take and record vital signs, including blood pressure, height, and weight measurements
  • Perform phlebotomy, ECGs, and flu, B12, and Pneumococcal vaccinations
  • Provide chaperoning duties and assist with vaccine/cold chain storage, monitoring, and recording
  • Assist with the assessment and surveillance of patients' health and well-being
  • Undertake specific clinical activities for named patients, as delegated and taught
  • Assist with the collection and collation of data on needs related to health and well-being
Requirements
  • Experience working in a healthcare setting, preferably primary care
  • Ability to work to an appointment book
  • Desirable: experience of working independently
