Process Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement assembly and in-process test processes and facilities to deliver safety, quality delivery, and cost objectives.
  • Plan, develop, and implement installation timing plans with key suppliers.
  • Ensure robust process planning, including build simulations and PFMEA's.
  • Verify assembly process and equipment at suppliers and manufacturing facilities.
  • Manage technical issues and escalate where necessary.
  • Achieve equipment capability and availability targets.
  • Support the resolution of technical issues.
  • Plan, develop, and implement written processes for manufacturing and tooling, jigs, and fixtures.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in manufacturing and engineering processes, tools, and techniques with a hands-on approach.
  • Experience in facility installation, project management, capability validation, commissioning, and product launch.
  • Ability to work in cross-functional teams and flexibility to support projects from early concepts to launch.
  • Ability to use CAD packages to review engineering drawings and models.
  • Understanding of safe automated and manual manufacturing systems.
  • Ability to problem-solve technical and manufacturing issues.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Previous project management experience.
  • Working understanding of process creation systems.
  • Highly motivated and able to work under own initiative.
