Social Worker (Children In Care Team)
Job Description:
We are looking for a skilled Social Worker to work with us in our Children In Care Team. The successful candidate will have experience working with children and families, promoting excellent standards of Social Work practice, and contributing to the development of department policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
• Act as a professional representative for the service, delivering an excellent service to people who access or need the service.
• Work with a diverse caseload, seeking support where required to meet workload deadlines.
• Promote excellent standards of Social Work practice for children and families, using skills in assessment and intervention to impact change.
• Assess needs, risks, and options, taking into account legal and County Council requirements.
• Report any allegations or suspicions of abuse or potential abuse to an immediate manager or supervisor.
What We Offer:
• A competitive salary range of £38,000 - £42,000 per annum, depending on experience.
• Flexible working hours.
• A supportive team culture with regular supervision on cases.
