We are seeking a dedicated and organized individual to join our veterinary team as a part-time receptionist/admin assistant. This is a permanent position working 31 hours per week over 4 days, with one in three Saturdays paid as overtime.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work under pressure, and use their own initiative. Basic IT skills are required, and experience of the Merlin system is preferred but not essential. A minimum of one year's experience in a veterinary setting or one year's experience in a reception role is necessary.

Key responsibilities include ensuring that all visitors to the practice are met in a professional, friendly, and courteous manner. The successful candidate will also be responsible for informing and educating clients, managing records, and providing excellent customer service at all times. They will need to be able to manage the appointment diary efficiently and record, pass on, and follow up enquiries promptly and efficiently.

We offer a competitive salary of £25,000 - £28,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits including enhanced family-friendly policies, a cycle to work scheme, and initiatives focused on employee wellbeing.
