At Bighorn Law, we are seeking a highly skilled Paralegal Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our family law group, you will play a critical role in preparing legal documents, filing motions, and utilizing legal software with precision. Your attention to detail and organizational skills will be essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our case filing systems.
Responsibilities- We require an individual who can effectively communicate with court personnel, adversaries, and file documents online through the Judiciary court system.
- You will assist lawyers in preparing for trial by organizing exhibits, conducting research on legal articles, and coordinating witnesses.
- Your primary responsibility will be to maintain our case filing systems, ensuring all documents are properly sorted and easily accessible.
- Conducting interviews with clients to gather information about their legal issues is also a crucial aspect of this role.
- You will support lawyers in preparing legal documentation, pleadings, and correspondence, including interrogatories, subpoenas, deposition notices, complaints, pretrial orders, legal briefs, and affidavits.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience working under an attorney or lawyer in a law firm setting is required.
- Candidates must possess strong interpersonal skills and proficiency in writing and grammar.
- Prior paralegal professional certification or advanced education in paralegal studies is highly desirable.
The salary for this position is estimated at $70,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
