Senior Building Surveyor

RGB Recruitment Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Senior Building Surveyor to join their team. As a Senior Building Surveyor, you will play a key role in ensuring the successful delivery of projects by providing expert advice on contractual and financial matters.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide regular contractual and financial information to monitor project objectives and assist with the vetting of sub-contract documents.
- Negotiate with sub-contractors to achieve the best deal for the company.
- Assist project contract engineers in preparing sub-sub-contractor enquiry documents and collate sub-sub-contract documents.
- Provide advice on suppliers/sub-sub-contractors quotations and obtain written agreement on final accounts.
- Prepare final accounts and analyze sub-contract tenders to prepare format for valuation applications.
- Monitor project progress and make recommendations to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
- Prepare contractual claims under the main contract and domestic sub-sub-contracts.
- Attend project support meetings as required.
- Good knowledge of standard forms of contract.
- Ability to negotiate with clients/sub-contractors and draft sub-contracts.
- Ability to produce accurate monthly cost and value reports and outturn financial forecasts.
