About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Accommodation and Support Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with clients with complex needs and/or facing multiple disadvantages to provide tailored support and guidance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work with clients to identify and develop a comprehensive network of support, including landlords, support agencies, hospitals, healthcare providers, family, friends, and other relevant stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with local authorities to identify new or more suitable accommodation options for clients.
  • Develop and implement strategies to engage and support clients in a motivational and psychologically informed way.
  • Work to make current accommodation sustainable and provide ongoing support to clients to maximize their choice and control over the support they receive.
Requirements
  • Proven experience working with clients with complex needs and/or facing multiple disadvantages.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with clients, stakeholders, and colleagues.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach to meet the needs of clients and the organization.
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures related to accommodation and support services.
