Job Title: Orthopaedic Physiotherapy Lead

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Physiotherapist to join our team as the Orthopaedic Physiotherapy Lead. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong clinical and leadership skills.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the Orthopaedic Physiotherapy team, providing clinical and managerial leadership to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care. This will involve working closely with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement effective treatment plans, managing a complex caseload, and overseeing the daily operations of the team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical leadership and guidance to the Orthopaedic Physiotherapy team
  • Develop and implement effective treatment plans in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team
  • Manage a complex caseload, prioritizing patient needs and ensuring timely interventions
  • Oversee the daily operations of the team, including staffing, resources, and equipment
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless patient care and effective communication
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of service improvement initiatives
Requirements
  • Extensive postgraduate experience working in Orthopaedic Physiotherapy
  • Excellent clinical and leadership skills, with a strong track record of delivering high-quality patient care
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience of managing a complex caseload and prioritizing patient needs
  • Ability to develop and implement effective treatment plans, with a strong understanding of current research and best practice
