**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a highly skilled Funding Specialist to join our Communities Team, based in Wembley. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in securing external funding to support our charitable work and contribute to the growth and development of our communities.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  1. Sales and Business Development: Support the Fundraising and Innovation Manager to deliver our fundraising strategy by identifying new opportunities for external funding and developing relationships with funders, businesses, local authorities, and national agencies.
  2. Bid Writing and Contract Management: Secure external funding by writing compelling bids and contracts, managing tender processes, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines.
  3. Programme Management: Lead projects and programmes that bring in external funding, working closely with stakeholders to develop and implement effective strategies.
  4. Innovation and Partnerships: Innovate and pilot new programmes and partnerships, identifying opportunities to enhance our services and improve outcomes for our customers.

**Requirements:**

  • Demonstrable experience in a similar role or knowledge within fundraising and partnerships.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Persuasive writing and storytelling skills, with the ability to create compelling bids and proposals.
  • Strong innovation mindset, with the ability to think creatively and develop innovative solutions.
  • Confident budget management and financial systems skills.

**What We Offer:**

  • A competitive salary of £42,000 per annum.
  • A generous holiday entitlement of 25 days plus Bank Holidays, with an additional day's leave each year up to a maximum of 30 days.
