Deputy Service Manager Job Description

Leader Recruitment Group is seeking an experienced Deputy Service Manager to join our client's care services team in Brighton. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled care professional to contribute to a dynamic team and make a positive impact on the lives of young people.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in managing semi-independent homes, ensuring compliance with local authority obligations.
  • Oversee the delivery of high-quality, person-centred care for young people.
  • Coordinate placement setups, care packages, and risk assessments.
  • Lead staff training, supervision, and development.
  • Ensure health & safety, safeguarding, and compliance across all units.
  • Build relationships with external agencies, including social services and the police.

Requirements:

  • Level 4/5 NVQ/Diploma in Health & Social Care.
  • Proven experience in a care management role.
  • Excellent leadership and operational management skills.
  • A passion for providing exceptional care services and achieving positive outcomes.
