Deputy Service Manager

Leader Recruitment Group is seeking an experienced care professional to lead our client's care services in Brighton. This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic individual with strong leadership and management skills to contribute to a dedicated team.

Role Details:

  • Location: Brighton
  • Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday (9am - 6pm), with on-call duties on a rota basis
  • Salary: £35,000 - £40,000

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in managing semi-independent homes, ensuring compliance with local authority obligations.
  • Oversee the delivery of high-quality, person-centred care for young people.
  • Coordinate placement setups, care packages, and risk assessments.
  • Lead staff training, supervision, and development.
  • Ensure health & safety, safeguarding, and compliance across all units.
  • Build relationships with external agencies, including social services and the police.

Requirements:

  • Level 4/5 NVQ/Diploma in Health & Social Care.
  • Proven experience in a care management role.
  • Excellent leadership and operational management skills.
  • A passion for providing exceptional care services and achieving positive outcomes.
