Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Field Service Technician to join our nationwide team responsible for servicing industrial Battery Chargers and their related Battery Packs at commercial and industrial locations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Organize and complete service visits according to manufacturers' recommendations.
  • Position, install, and commission equipment at customer sites.
  • Repair equipment and ensure it meets quality standards.
  • Identify sales opportunities and advise the office accordingly.
  • Represent the company professionally and diplomatically at all times.
  • Survey new and existing sites for installation purposes.
  • Provide technical support to colleagues and customers as needed.

Desirable Qualifications and Experience:

  • Electrical or electronic fault finding expertise.
  • Electromechanical installation experience, including knowledge of BS7671 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
  • Understanding of SLA, NiCD, and Plante batteries.
  • Experience working with Distribution Network Operators (DNOs), UKPN, and/or National Grid.
  • UK driving license and eligibility to work in the UK.
