Teaching Assistant Role in South London

We are recruiting for a Higher-Level Teaching Assistant to work in one of our partner schools in Bromley. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and passionate individual to make a real difference in the lives of our students.

About the Role:
  • FULL-TIME POSITION: Monday to Friday, 8am - 4pm, with a competitive salary of £500-£550 per week, including holiday pay.
  • ROLE DURATION: The initial contract is until July 2025, with opportunities to continue beyond.
  • JOB SUMMARY:

As a Higher-Level Teaching Assistant, you will provide academic support to students in the classroom, offer pastoral care and guidance, and assist teachers with lesson planning and delivery. You will work closely with teachers and other support staff to ensure a smooth and effective learning environment.

Requirements:
  • First-Class Degree in a related subject from a Top 20 UK University
  • Prior experience as a teaching assistant in the UK
  • Sensitivity to emotional dysregulation and a strong knowledge of safeguarding practices
  • An excellent academic record dating back to GCSEs
  • Extracurricular hobbies like sports, music or languages that can be integrated into school life (not essential)
