Job SummaryThe Senior Proposals Manager will be responsible for managing bids through the entire lifecycle, including win theme development, bid strategy, solution development, and team reviews. This role requires strong leadership and management skills, as well as the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Key Responsibilities- Support the Head of Proposals in ensuring that KBR delivers high-quality proposal documentation.
- Develop and coordinate proposal plans, ensuring timely completion of deliverables.
- Ensure adherence to proposal procedures and provide guidance to others involved in proposal preparation processes.
- Develop and coordinate win themes and strategies to differentiate KBR from competitors.
- Write individual sections of proposals or the entire proposal for smaller projects.
- Conduct reviews of bids prior to submission to ensure high-quality submissions.
- Support business development and operations in developing all aspects of the bid.
- Stand in for the Head of Proposals and Manager of Proposals in their absence.
- Support the maintenance of data and information needed for proposal preparation.
- Prepare expressions of interest, pre-qualifications, client presentations, and support on other sales and marketing activities.
- Manage the upkeep and development of knowledge stores, including standard company information, experience lists, executive summaries, and proposal-related information.
- Drive the bid team to follow processes and conduct due diligence before submitting proposals.
- Report to Senior Management on proposal activities and status.
- Essential: right to work in the UK.
- A relevant number of years' experience in bid management, preferably in the oil and gas industry or energy transition.
- Strong management skills and organizational abilities.
- Minimum requirement of three days on site.
