At Cranswick Country Foods PLC, we are seeking a highly skilled Pig Stockperson to join our team in the Mildenhall, Suffolk area.

As a Pig Stockperson, you will be responsible for actively participating in all areas of the pig rearing cycle, including feeding, moving, and handling the pigs. Your primary location will be our Breeding Unit, where you will work closely with a team of 3-5 people to maintain the condition and appearance of the farming unit.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring the health and well-being of the pigs
  • Maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the farming unit
  • Assisting in the daily feeding and movement of the pigs

Requirements for the role include:

  • Previous experience as a Pig Stockperson is essential
  • A strong commitment to animal welfare and a willingness to prioritize it
  • Self-motivation, flexibility, and excellent team player skills
  • Reliability and good timekeeping

In return for your hard work and dedication, we offer a competitive salary of £26,000 per annum, plus benefits including a pension scheme and death in service insurance. We also provide on and off-farm training to enhance your knowledge and skills in pig farming.
