Pig Finishing Stockperson Job Description

Wayland Farms Ltd, a leading pig production company, is seeking a skilled Pig Finishing Stockperson to join their team. As a key member of the Cranswick Country Foods PLC team, you will be responsible for ensuring the health and well-being of pigs in the finishing cycle.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Feed, move, and handle pigs on a daily basis
  • Maintain the condition and appearance of the farming unit
  • Work collaboratively with the team to achieve animal welfare and production goals
Requirements:
  • Strong animal welfare focus and ability to prioritize tasks accordingly
  • Self-motivated, flexible, and a great team player
  • Reliable and good time-keeping
  • Previous agricultural experience desirable
Benefits:

  • Monday to Friday shift pattern with alternate weekend work, total of 45 hours per week
