At Cranswick Country Foods PLC, we are seeking a skilled Pig Finishing Stockperson to join our team in the Hengrave Area.

Job Summary:

We are passionate about breeding and nurturing the best pigs in the country. As a Pig Finishing Stockperson, you will be actively involved in all areas of the pig finishing cycle, ensuring the health and well-being of our animals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Feed, move, and handle pigs on a daily basis
  • Maintain the condition and appearance of the farming unit
  • Work collaboratively with the team to achieve our goals

Requirements:

  • Prioritize and adhere to animal welfare
  • Be self-motivated, flexible, and a great team player
  • Reliable and demonstrate good time keeping
  • Previous agricultural experience is desirable

What We Offer:

  • Salary - from £26,000 per year
  • Monday to Friday shift pattern with alternate weekend work, total of 45 hours per week
  • Pension - 3% employer contributions/5% employee contributions
