Senior Hotel Operations Role

We are seeking a highly motivated Deputy General Manager to lead our hotel operations team. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned hospitality professional to take on a key leadership role and drive business growth.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in hotel management, with experience in leading teams and driving operational excellence. They will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the hotel, ensuring that all departments are working efficiently and effectively to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

As a member of our senior management team, the Deputy General Manager will play a key role in shaping the hotel's strategy and contributing to its continued success. They will work closely with the General Manager to achieve business objectives and ensure that the hotel is consistently delivering high standards of service and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and motivate the hotel operations team to deliver exceptional results
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the hotel, including front-of-house, back-of-house, and maintenance
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency and reduce costs
  • Work closely with the General Manager to achieve business objectives and drive growth
  • Contribute to the development of the hotel's marketing and sales strategies
  • Mentor and develop staff to enhance their skills and knowledge

Requirements:

  • 5+ years' experience in hotel management, preferably in a senior leadership role
  • Proven track record of achieving business goals and improving operational efficiency
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams
  • Ability to work under pressure and make sound decisions in fast-paced environments
  • Familiarity with hotel software systems and technology platforms
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a focus on innovation and creativity

Salary: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum (dependent on experience), plus benefits and bonus schemes
