We are seeking a highly skilled Consultant in Acute Medicine to join our successful Medicine department at Triple West Medical. Our client is a prestigious NHS Trust with a strong reputation for providing high-quality patient care.

The successful appointee will be part of a dynamic team of six acute medicine consultants, fourteen acute/specialty consultants, and thirty-three specialty medical consultants. The department provides the acute and general internal medicine service, with a high degree of acuity and a wide range of medical conditions.

The appointee will be responsible for contributing to the Acute Medicine Rota, taking referrals, and working on the Ambulatory Care Units. The team takes around 90 to 120 referrals per day, with around 1/3 streamed via the Same Day Emergency Care pathways. The medical team is being brought in line with RCP recommended staffing ratios, and the appointee will be expected to perform clinical lists, teaching, and management duties.
