We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Consultant in Acute Medicine to join our team at Triple West Medical. As a key member of our medical staff, you will play a crucial role in the development and delivery of our comprehensive Acute Medicine Service.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled and motivated individual to lead our Acute Medicine team. You will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, managing a team of medical professionals, and contributing to the development of our clinical services.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Provide expert medical care to patients with acute medical conditions
  2. Lead and manage a team of medical professionals to deliver high-quality patient care
  3. Develop and implement clinical pathways and guidelines for Acute Medicine
  4. Contribute to the development of our clinical services and quality improvement initiatives
  5. Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless patient care
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  1. Full specialist registration with the General Medical Council (or eligible for registration within six months of interview)
  2. MRCP or equivalent
  3. Wide experience in all aspects of General Medicine, culminating in award of CCT or equivalent in Acute Medicine or General Medicine
  4. Experience in day-to-day organisation of acute medicine services in a busy Teaching Hospital
  5. Able to demonstrate leadership capability within multi-disciplinary teams
  6. Experience of clinical research
  7. Thorough understanding of principles of medical audit
