Senior Quality Improvement Lead

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Senior Quality Manager to join our team in the Midlands Nursing Directorate.
About the JobThe successful candidate will work closely with the Quality Governance Team to establish systems and processes ensuring quality compliance across the region.
As a regional champion for patient safety, the post holder will support the work of the Quality Governance Team in delivering high-quality leadership, specialist advice, and interventions to improve patient safety and quality across the Midlands.
The role involves working collaboratively with colleagues to provide effective services supporting managers and staff across the Midlands Region/Nursing Directorate.

The Clinical Senior Quality Manager will act as a senior leader in the Quality Governance Team, providing strategic guidance and direction to ensure quality compliance across the region.
With a strong focus on patient safety, the post holder will work closely with clinical leaders and other experts to deliver statutory functions and improve patient outcomes.
They will also be responsible for budget management, including setting budgets and demonstrating a working knowledge of financial processes.
Person Specification- Educated to masters level or equivalent experience of working at a senior level in a specialist area.
- Registered nurse and/or midwife and/or Member of a relevant professional body.
The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of specialist areas acquired through postgraduate diploma or equivalent experience.
They will also have significant experience of working with clinical leaders and other clinical experts within work programmes and in the delivery of statutory functions.
A strong understanding of programme and project management, including quality improvement methodologies, is essential for this role.
The successful candidate will also have experience of delivering presentations to large groups of stakeholders in often pressurized and politically sensitive environments.
