Workshop Engineer Position

Luton Bennett is seeking a skilled Workshop Engineer to join their team in Basingstoke.
The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out planned maintenance and breakdowns on a range of forklift trucks.
Duties will include:
- Carrying out pre-delivery inspections, service, and repair work on a variety of forklift trucks.
- Working in a busy workshop environment, Monday to Friday.
- Ordering spares as needed.
- Overtime at time and a half over 39 hours a week.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Experience working on plant, forklifts, HGVs, agricultural equipment, or similar.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Basic IT literacy.
- Ideal qualifications: Level 3 or equivalent in a relevant discipline.
Luton Bennett offers a competitive salary of £33,775 per annum, plus comprehensive training and progression opportunities.
