Job Title: Senior Requirements Engineers Lead

A senior position in the Capital Engineering Team at The Engineer, responsible for leading and applying Systems Engineering approaches to mechanical, electronic, processing, safety, security or nuclear projects. Some hybrid working available.

We are transforming the way we deliver projects, applying systems engineering at scale using the latest technology. This role involves taking responsibility for the full project requirement set, keeping it up to date and liaising with stakeholders to ensure their needs are appropriately recorded.

**Key Responsibilities:**
- Lead on the delivery of requirements, verification and validation evidence for engineering solutions across multiple lifecycle phases
- Manage stakeholder partnerships
- Support the training and development of less experienced engineers through formal and informal mentoring
- Apply the behaviours of a systems thinker to solve complex problems and implement constructive change

The ideal candidate will have an HNC/HND or degree qualification in a science or engineering discipline, or proven experience working in a similar environment. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential, as well as strong communication and soft skills to work with people and teams to both discover and share key information.
