Therapist for Complex Communication Needs

As a Therapist for Complex Communication Needs, you will play a vital role in our multidisciplinary team, working closely with teachers, therapists, and parents to develop and implement individualised therapy programs.
With a focus on enabling our students to access education and participate fully in school life, we are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated professional to join our team.
About the JobThe successful candidate will have a recognised Speech and Language Therapy degree, minimum 2 years of experience working with a paediatric caseload, and expertise in speech, language, and communication needs.
You will conduct detailed assessments, including differential diagnosis and implementing tailored therapy programs, and collaborate with teachers, therapists, and parents to develop and monitor Individual Education Plans and Annual Reviews.

Requirements- Registered with the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists and HCPC.
- A recognised Speech and Language Therapy degree.
- Minimum 2 years of experience working with a paediatric caseload, preferably in a school setting.
- Expertise in speech, language, and communication needs, with knowledge of autism spectrum disorders, AAC, and dysphagia.
- A competitive salary of £38,048 to £41,896 per year – subject to annual pay review.
- Generous annual leave: 10 weeks per year.
- Professional development and training opportunities.
- Permanent contract, 35 hours per week, term time (39 weeks) plus 3 additional weeks during school closure periods used flexibly across the year; we would consider part-time arrangements.
