About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Speech and Language Therapist to join our dynamic team at Meath School. The successful candidate will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality therapy services to students with complex communication needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a diverse caseload of students with severe and complex speech, language, and communication needs.
  • Develop and implement individualised therapy plans, incorporating AAC methods and other communication strategies.
  • Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and parents to design and deliver curriculum-based interventions.
  • Participate in pre-admission assessments and contribute to research and curriculum development.
  • Work autonomously, taking ownership of your caseload and making decisions about treatment plans.
Requirements:
  • HCPC registration and a recognised Speech and Language Therapy degree.
  • At least 2 years' experience working with children in a school setting.
  • Expertise in speech, language, and communication needs, including autism spectrum disorders and AAC.
  • A creative and reflective approach to practice, with a commitment to ongoing learning and collaboration.
Salary and Benefits:

The estimated salary range for this role is between £38,048 and £41,896 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications. You will also receive a generous annual leave entitlement and a range of exciting benefits, including Perkbox membership and Tickets for Good.
