Role Description
This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Learning Support Assistant to join our team at the Buckinghamshire Primary PRU. As a Behaviour Mentor or LSA, you will have the chance to learn about the different provisions offered by the PRU and develop your skills in behaviour management. You will receive training and support from our experienced team to enable you to be successful in this role.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work with pupils who require additional support in a mainstream school setting
  • Support classroom colleagues to deliver interventions to individuals and small groups of pupils
  • Lead classes when teachers are carrying out other responsibilities

Requirements:
  • Experience of working with children with complex SEND needs or challenging behaviour
  • Able to work well in a team environment
  • Confident in your ability to lead outreach programmes for named pupils
