We are seeking a highly motivated Service Department Assistant to join our team at FMG Repair Services Limited. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring that customers receive high-quality service.

Your primary responsibility will be to book customer cars in for repair or attention, either by telephone or through personal visits. You will also prepare job cards and files as necessary, maintain a filing system for job cards, invoices, and associated paperwork, and provide vehicle progress reports when requested by the customer.

On completion of the job, you will collect payment from the customer, paying particular attention to banking and security arrangements. You will also handle all relevant administration tasks.

We offer a competitive salary of £14,600 per annum, which equates to £7.00 per hour. You will work Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, with potential weekend work included.

The apprenticeship includes regular training with a college or other training organisation, with at least 20% of your working hours spent on training or studying. You will achieve a Customer Service Specialist Level 3 Apprenticeship Standard Qualification, as well as a VRQ in Parts.

To be successful in this role, you must have GCSEs or equivalent in English and Maths (grade 4+). We encourage you to let us know about any other relevant qualifications or industry experience you may have.
