Restaurant Operations Manager

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Assistant Manager to join our team at Edesia. As a key member of our management team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our restaurant, delivering exceptional customer service, and driving business growth.
Key Responsibilities:- Coordinate daily Front of the House and Back of the House restaurant operations to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Control operational costs and identify measures to reduce waste, ensuring maximum efficiency and profitability.
- Deliver superior service and maximise customer satisfaction through effective communication and problem-solving skills.
- Respond efficiently and accurately to customer complaints, resolving issues promptly and professionally.
- Regularly review product quality to ensure consistency and excellence in our offerings.
- Organise and monitor staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage and optimal productivity.
- Organise and supervise shifts to ensure smooth transitions and effective team management.
- Appraise staff performance and provide constructive feedback to improve productivity and job satisfaction.
- Estimate future needs for goods, kitchen utensils, and cleaning products to maintain optimal inventory levels.
- Ensure compliance with sanitation and safety regulations, maintaining a clean and safe environment for customers and staff.
- Manage the restaurant's image and suggest ways to improve it, enhancing our reputation and customer loyalty.
- Create detailed reports on weekly, monthly, and annual revenues and expenses to inform business decisions.
- Actively promote all venues and events, driving sales and revenue growth.
- Train new and current employees on proper guest service practices, ensuring a consistent and exceptional customer experience.
- Implement policies and protocols to maintain future restaurant operations, ensuring continuity and excellence.
- Ensure a smooth closing of the venue, completing all tasks and procedures to maintain a high standard of service.
- Advanced level of written and spoken English to effectively communicate with customers and staff.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to meet business demands.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure, handling challenging situations with poise and professionalism.
- Exceptional organisational and leadership skills to manage teams and drive business growth.
- Ability to work well with others, demonstrating excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Knowledge of all applicable software to efficiently manage restaurant operations.
