Description:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to join our team at Longlands Care Home. As a key member of our care team, you will provide high-quality care and support to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care and support to residents, including washing, bathing, and dressing.
- Assist residents with daily routines, such as toileting and mobility.
- Support residents with their medication and healthcare needs.
- Engage with residents in activities and hobbies, promoting social interaction and stimulation.
- Work collaboratively with the care team to ensure residents receive a high standard of care.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a care setting, preferably in a residential or dementia care environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Compassionate and empathetic approach to care.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and bank holidays.
