About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Lab Engineer team as a Hardware Design Engineer at the innovation hub of our client's UK branch. As a contractor, you will enjoy the same benefits as permanent employees, including comprehensive training to help you excel in your career.

Key Responsibilities

  • Write specifications for outsourced development
  • Bring concepts to final solutions
  • Provide initial results
  • Write validation specifications
  • Perform validation processes
  • Write technical documents
  • Effectively communicate with stakeholders to present project progress and challenges

Requirements

  • Experience with STM32 microcontrollers and embedded firmware
  • Proficiency in Altium for multilayer PCB design
  • Generating manufacturing files is desirable
  • Proven experience in both analogue and digital electronics design
  • Interpreting design specifications
  • Conducting reporting and documentation
  • Performing validation testing of designed PCBs
  • Knowledge of power semiconductor devices is desirable
