Job Title: Diagnostic Hardware Electrical Engineer

At Bosch, we are seeking a highly skilled Diagnostic Hardware Electrical Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and developing electrical diagnostic hardware for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyzing customer requirements and creating electrical schematic drawings for EOL diagnostic hardware using EPLAN.
  • Designing 2D and 3D mechanical drawings for EOL diagnostic hardware using AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
  • Creating RFQs for third-party vendors and coordinating with them to build the EOL diagnostic hardware.
  • Performing on-site testing/validation and deployment of EOL diagnostic hardware.
  • Preparing for and participating in plant launches of EOL test systems.
  • Resolving issues during installation and commissioning at customer premises.
  • Authoring and delivering customer training.
  • Preparing related design and user documentation.
  • Providing effective communication with the customer.
Qualifications:
  • At least 2 years' experience of electrical hardware design in an industrial environment.
  • Demonstrable experience in using electrical schematic drawing tools, EPLAN or similar.
  • Demonstrable experience in using 2D drawing tools, AutoCAD or similar.
  • Demonstrable experience in using 3D drawing tools, SolidWorks or similar.
  • Demonstrable experience of electrical control panel design and manufacture.
  • Awareness of electrical safety standards and testing.
  • Good written and oral English.
