  • As a Senior Social Worker, you will manage complex caseloads, employing professional judgement and a range of interventions to promote independence, provide support and protection, take preventative action, and ensure safety.
  • You will lead the management of positive interventions, assess and plan for safeguarding in complex cases, and provide guidance and advice to colleagues.
  • A key aspect of this role is leading practice development, mentoring less experienced staff, and delivering formal professional reflective supervision.
  • Your responsibilities will also include providing support with personal and professional development, maintaining up-to-date case work records, and working within the Directorate's data protection policies.
  • This position requires a Social Work Qualification, Continual professional development, and Social Work England registration.
