About the Role

We're seeking an ambitious professional to join our project development team as an Asset Project Engineer. You'll be responsible for progressing technical improvement projects for our existing European power station assets.

With your expertise in engineering or a related field, you'll have the opportunity to build knowledge in various disciplines, including project management techniques. Decarbonization is central to Uniper's strategy, aiming for carbon neutrality by 2040 and reducing emissions by 55% by 2030.

Your Responsibilities
  • You will be an active member of the project development team to progress technical improvement projects for our assets.
  • You will gain experience in project management techniques and build engineering knowledge in a variety of disciplines.
  • Decarbonisation of our assets is central to Uniper's new strategy, and we aim to be carbon neutral by 2040 and to reduce our 2030 emissions by 55% compared to 2019 levels.
About You
  • Able to learn quickly and work with others in a fast-moving small team of project management engineers.
  • Knowledge in a relevant discipline for the energy industry including but not limited to engineering, science, energy management, etc.
  • Ability to work on own initiative once training/inductions are completed.
  • Willingness to travel to Power Station sites and offices in the UK, Germany, Sweden and Netherlands as required.
Compensation and Benefits

We offer an attractive salary range of £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, commensurate with experience, plus an excellent company pension and health-related benefits.
