- Observation and Safety: Undertake observation checks to ensure the residents' safety and maintain their hygiene, and ensure the safe use of moving and handling equipment.
- Engagement and Entertainment: Participate in activities to keep residents engaged and entertained during their stay, promoting their physical and emotional well-being.
- Cleaning and Maintenance: Undertake basic cleaning duties, adhering to cleaning rotas and safety procedures to maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Full and Up-to-Date CV: Provide a comprehensive CV showcasing your relevant work experience and qualifications.
- Referenceable Work History: Display at least 3 months of paid UK experience working in a care home environment.
- Enhanced DBS Certificate: Hold an Enhanced DBS certificate dated within the past 6 months or registered on the update service.
- Mandatory Training Certificates: Possess mandatory training certificates relevant to the role, dated within the past 12 months.
- COVID Vaccination: Proof of COVID vaccination is beneficial but not essential.
- Strong Communication Skills: Demonstrate excellent communication skills to effectively interact with residents, colleagues, and management.
- Working Hours: Available to work various shifts, including 06:45 to 14:30, 14:15 to 22:00, 06:45 to 22:00, and 22:00 to 07:00.
- Pay Rate: £11.60 per hour for day shifts and £12.00 per hour for night shifts.
