Maintenance Engineer Opportunity

This role involves working as a maintenance engineer in a food manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in proactive and reactive maintenance, as well as a strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out proactive maintenance tasks, including site PMs and predictive maintenance
  • Respond to breakdowns and carry out reactive maintenance as required
  • Work on engineering projects, including commissioning, installations, and relocations
  • Identify and implement improvements to processes and machine output
  • Ensure adherence to site Health & Safety rules and legislation

Requirements

  • Time-served or recognised apprenticeship in a relevant engineering subject
  • Experience working in a maintenance engineer role, ideally in a similar industry
  • Ability to work at a fast pace and confidence in a manufacturing environment
