About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Java Developer to join our team at esure Group. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing, crafting, and supporting new technical products and services to support our business and its ambitious digital transformation.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design and construct digital and technical products
- Collaborate within a team to set the technical direction for supported products
- Establish a robust automated test suite for seamless integration into a continuous deployment environment
- Provide 2nd line support for applications and platforms, occasionally beyond regular office hours
- Actively drive the enterprise Agile and transformation journey

Requirements:

- Strong technical expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices
- Expertise in microservices, database programming, event streaming, and queueing technologies in a cloud-based environment
- Experience in building and scaling high-traffic websites or mission-critical line-of-business systems
- Automated integration and acceptance testing experience, preferably with a BDD framework
