Job Title: Counter Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Counter Manager to join our team at Artisan People. As a Counter Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, leading a team of beauty consultants, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor stock levels and report any issues to the Line Manager
  • Participate in merchandise management and ensure that it is in line with corporate guidelines
  • Manage NSV budgets and ordering within time limits
  • Conduct all assigned operational and administrative tasks including rotas and sickness reporting
  • Be a brand ambassador and representative at all times
  • Build relationships with store management and adhere to all store policies and procedures
  • Carry out any additional duties as directed by the management team
Sales Objectives:
  • Lead and coach your team to ensure all team members achieve or exceed sales targets, as set by your Line Manager
  • Proactively sell the brand's products and provide a luxury standard of service to customers
  • Proactively link sell across product categories, to increase average pound sale (A£S) and average unit sale (AUS)
  • Prepare and organise activity on counter monthly with Area Manager approval
  • Book Beauty Room events
  • Complete all admin accurately off or on counter and in a timely manner
  • Consistently exercise storytelling skills through educating clients on the brand's heritage and values
  • Identify and depict each client's intent behind their visit and maximise all sales opportunities
Management and Leadership:
  • Proactively manage team members, identify coaching opportunities, and support with training
  • Manage stock levels in partnership with the Line Manager
  • Grow business through events, appointments, and return bookings
Service Excellence:
  • Be knowledgeable about all brand products and recommend them to clients
  • Demonstrate products through consultations, makeovers, and hair product application
  • Recruit new customers and develop relationships with them to gain loyalty
  • Capture all customers on the database following GDPR guidelines
  • Educate clients on the products and the brand
Requirements:

We are looking for a management-savvy sales professional with a background in luxury beauty. As a results-driven individual, you will take advantage of events and counter-promotions to consistently grow the business.

You will be able to demonstrate skincare and makeup application knowledge and, through excellent communication skills, be able to identify key items that would suit the customers' needs. Finally, you'll present yourself impeccably, reflecting the values that the brand embodies.
