Defence Capability Specialist

As a Project Security Manager at Mace, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the secure delivery of major infrastructure projects that contribute to the UK's strategic defence capability.
Key Job Responsibilities:- Security Process Implementation: Work closely with project managers to implement security processes across the site and associated locations.
- Security Management Plan Maintenance: Maintain and review security management plans to ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Security Incident Log Maintenance: Conduct thorough investigations into security incidents and maintain a comprehensive incident log.
- Security Awareness Promotion: Promote a positive security culture among project stakeholders through awareness programs.
- Security Audit and Assurance Reporting: Carry out regular security audits and provide assurance reports to key clients.
- External Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with external stakeholders to provide expert security advice and guidance.
- Contractual Obligation Support: Support the project team in meeting contractual security obligations and ensuring regulatory compliance.
To be successful in this role, you will need a relevant degree, BTEC/HNC, and working knowledge of security policies and procedures for Government Departments. A proven track record in managing client relationships and a background in security, construction, or project management is also essential.
