Programme Communications Specialist

ENGINEERINGUK is seeking a highly skilled Programme Communications Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Programme Communications team, you will play a critical role in delivering successful outcomes for our defence prime client programme.

About the Programme

This is a part-time opportunity (2-3 days per week) that offers flexible working arrangements. You will work closely with stakeholders and communications leads to achieve successful outcomes. Our programme supports the delivery of a defence prime client programme and requires a skilled Programme Communications Specialist to develop effective stakeholder management and communications strategies, plans, processes, and tools.

Your Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and implement effective stakeholder management and communications strategies, plans, processes, and tools.
  2. Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
  3. Support the integration of various disciplines across the programme as well as consultants and contractors.
  4. Track progress against KPIs and support governance and reporting for stakeholder management and communications.
  5. Collaborate with the programme team to recognise opportunities, escalate issues, and achieve key objectives.
Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 5 years' experience supporting the delivery of stakeholder management and communications.
  • Significant experience writing and implementing effective stakeholder management and communications strategies.
  • Extensive knowledge of functional best practices, methodologies, processes, tools, and software including CRM/SRM systems.
  • Understanding of infrastructure or construction projects, and dependencies within the project lifecycle.
  • Resilient ability to manage challenging situations and secure a positive outcome.
  • Self-awareness of own weaknesses and ability to ask for help.
  • A British passport for SC clearance.
  • Ability to travel to Derby 2-3 days per week.
Salary and Benefits
