Senior Care Assistant Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Care Assistant to join our team in Norwich. As a Senior Care Assistant, you will provide personalized care and support to an 83-year-old lady living with dementia in her own home.

About the Role:

As a Senior Care Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting with daily living activities, cooking, and light housekeeping. You will also be required to support the client with medication management and assist with mobility issues.

You will work closely with the client's family members to ensure that their needs are met and that they receive the best possible care.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with seniors or individuals with dementia and possess excellent communication skills.


Key Responsibilities:
  1. Assist with Daily Living Activities: Assist the client with bathing, dressing, and using the bathroom.
  2. Cooking and Meal Preparation: Prepare nutritious meals and snacks to meet the client's dietary needs.
  3. Light Housekeeping: Maintain a clean and safe living environment by performing light housekeeping tasks.
  4. Medication Management: Assist the client with taking their medications as prescribed.
  5. Mobility Support: Assist the client with mobility issues such as walking and transferring.

Requirements:
* Experience working with seniors or individuals with dementia
* Compassionate and empathetic approach
* Excellent communication skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Salary: £19,800 per annum (£9.50 per hour)
