In this challenging yet rewarding position, you will work closely with the Adult Locality Team in Surrey to deliver high-quality social work services. As a Senior Social Worker, you will be responsible for managing complex caseloads, making informed risk assessments, and providing vital support and protection to those in need.
Main Responsibilities- Assess and plan for the needs of individuals, children, carers, and families, ensuring they receive the necessary support and resources.
- Develop and implement effective risk management strategies, balancing individual rights with potential risks.
- Design and deliver targeted interventions to prevent health and wellbeing decline, focusing on early intervention and prevention.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance safeguarding practices, sharing knowledge and expertise to improve outcomes.
- Provide mentorship and supervision to junior staff members, promoting growth and development within the team.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning, embracing opportunities for professional development and skill enhancement.
- Maintain precise and up-to-date records, respecting data protection protocols.
- Holding a social work qualification or equivalent.
The estimated annual salary for this position ranges from $45,000 to $55,000, depending on your level of experience.
