Academics Ltd is seeking a highly motivated Behavioural Support Specialist to support children with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs in a specialist school near Guildford. The ideal candidate will have experience working with SEN children and/or adults, and be knowledgeable about mental health.

The role offers an excellent daily rate of £90 per day and provides opportunities for on-site training, support and Continuous Professional Development (CPD). As a Behavioural Support Specialist, you will have a positive impact on the lives of children and young people who need it most.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting children with SEMH needs
  • Building strong relationships with students and staff
  • Providing a consistent and empathetic role model
  • Working with a team to develop and implement strategies to support students
  • Collaborating with teachers and other professionals to ensure student progress

Requirements:

  • Open-minded and resilient individual
  • Knowledgeable about mental health
  • Experience working with SEN children and/or adults
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Enhanced DBS and/or overseas police check (where appropriate)
