As a leading global environmental and sustainability consultancy, Wardell Armstrong offers an exciting opportunity for a talented Senior or Principal Grade Landscape Architect to join our creative Landscape Design team in Edinburgh. We are seeking an ambitious and dynamic individual with hands-on experience of leading on the design and delivery of projects across all RIBA work stages.

The Role:

We are looking for someone who can lead on design projects across a range of sectors including education, masterplanning, healthcare, sport and leisure, residential, public realm, and some fantastic community initiatives. You will be responsible for the day-to-day running of your own projects with the support of an experienced team.

Key responsibilities include managing and mentoring junior members of the team, leading on design projects, and working collaboratively with other specialists within our environment and sustainability teams.

In return, we offer a competitive salary package, excellent benefits, and a supportive working environment. Our estimated annual salary for this role is £45,000 - £60,000 based on location and experience.

Requirements:
  • Chartered Member of the Landscape Institute
  • Experience project managing Landscape design projects across a range of sectors
  • Excellent graphic capabilities
  • Able to use AutoCAD and Adobe Creative Suite to a high standard
  • High standard of written English and excellent presentation skills
  • Good interpersonal, communication and time management skills
