Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Strategic Sourcing Manager to join our team at BOC Limited, a Linde company. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for leading the development and execution of commodity strategies across assigned business units, aligning with our overall business strategy and priorities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute commodity strategies to drive business value and improve supplier relationships
  • Lead and manage a small team of procurement professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure effective team performance
  • Partner with business stakeholders to understand their needs and develop solutions that meet their requirements
  • Manage key supplier relationships, ensuring timely delivery of goods and services at the right quality, price, and delivery
  • Stay up-to-date with market trends, innovation, and best practices to identify opportunities for improvement and growth
Requirements
  • Minimum 8 years' experience in a similar level senior/management procurement role within a large national or global company
  • Educated to degree level (MSc/MBA) or equivalent, with a CIPS (Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply) qualification desirable
  • Proven track record of delivering results in a large networked international company, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • High level of self-motivation, tenacity to drive and deliver results in a high-pressure environment
  • Excellent level of commercial and business acumen, with an understanding of the nature of our products and services
