**Job Title:** Care Quality Co-ordinator

The Rotherham NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Governance Professional to join our team as a Care Quality Co-ordinator. This role will provide strategic and clinical leadership for the Care Group, accountable for the overall delivery of effective, efficient, and high-quality clinical services in line with the requirements of the relevant commissioners.

As a key member of the Executive Management Team, the successful candidate will work closely with the Chief Executive, the Chair and Non-Executive Directors, Executive Directors, Associate Medical Directors, and other colleagues within the Trust to contribute to and effectively drive the strategic direction of the clinical services within their remit.

The Care Quality Co-ordinator will lead the overall management of the Care Group, develop and implement a clinical strategy in line with the overall Trust strategy, and secure the day-to-day delivery of high-quality, efficient clinical and patient services. The role will also involve working with relevant Executive Directors, General Manager & Care Group leadership team to develop a business plan and budget for the Care Group.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Lead the overall management of the Care Group.
  2. Develop and implement a clinical strategy in line with the overall Trust strategy.
  3. Secure the day-to-day delivery of high-quality, efficient clinical and patient services.
  4. Work with relevant Executive Directors, General Manager & Care Group leadership team to develop a business plan and budget for the Care Group.

About the Role:

The Care Quality Co-ordinator will be responsible for ensuring that all medical staff are appropriately performance managed and reviewed, and that the Trust's corporate objectives and standards are met. The role will also involve deputising for the Medical Director as required and providing advice to the Board of Directors.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

The successful candidate will possess excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues at all levels within the Trust. A strong understanding of clinical governance and quality improvement is essential, as is the ability to develop and implement effective business plans and budgets.
