We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant in Clinical Microbiology to join our team. As a consultant, you will play a key role in developing and implementing our microbiology services, working closely with clinicians and other healthcare professionals.

The trust has a strong commitment to patient-centered care and continuous improvement. Our Pathology Service is accredited to ISO15189, and we are committed to providing high-quality services to our patients. The successful candidate will have a background in medical microbiology, with experience in laboratory management and leadership.

The ideal candidate will be a GMC-registered doctor with a Fellowship of the Royal College of Pathologists (FRCPath) or equivalent qualification. They should also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

This is a competitive salary of £105,504-£139,882 per annum, plus on-call supplement. The successful candidate will be required to travel to other sites as needed.
