As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in providing expert advice and guidance on antimicrobial therapies to healthcare professionals across the trust.
Main Responsibilities- Develop and implement antimicrobial stewardship programs to optimize patient outcomes and reduce antimicrobial resistance.
- Provide clinical guidance and support to healthcare professionals on the use of antimicrobial agents.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement policies and procedures related to antimicrobial use.
- Conduct audits and reviews to ensure compliance with antimicrobial guidelines and policies.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest research and developments in antimicrobial therapies and share knowledge with the team.
- Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) as a pharmacist.
- Experience in antimicrobial therapy and stewardship.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
