About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Catering Team Leader to join our team at Sandwell and West Birmingham NHS Trust. As a key member of our catering department, you will be responsible for supervising staff and ensuring the delivery of high-quality food and beverage services to our patients and customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and manage a team of catering staff to ensure the delivery of excellent customer service and high-quality food and beverage products.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations, as well as health and safety standards.
  • Manage inventory and supplies, including ordering and stock control.
  • Develop and implement effective systems and processes to improve efficiency and productivity.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery.
Requirements
  • Previous supervisory experience in a catering or hospitality environment.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations, as well as health and safety standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and bank holidays.
